John pt. 2 (7-week study)
This study is an intimate look at Jesus’ last week before His crucifixion. In chapters 12-21,
Jesus draws His disciples aside to prepare them for what is to come. We see Jesus’ heart
revealed as He comforts, prays for, and encourages His disciples (and us!). We will delve
into the account of His death, burial, and resurrection, and their significance to salvation
resulting in a deeper love and appreciation for our Savior.

I AM: The Identity of Jesus (2-week topical study)
In this study, you will discover treasures of truth about Jesus found in the “I AM” statements
of John’s Gospel. Your Savior’s own declarations about Himself will give you deep insight

The Amazing Collection: Romans - Genesis - Ruth

The Amazing Collection is a Bible study from Big Dream Ministries that takes you on a unique journey through Scripture, pointing to Jesus from the Bible books Genesis to Ruth. This is a 3-year study where you will be studying the whole Bible! SMCC has been doing this study since 2005! We would love you to join us!

You can start at any part of the study going through the Bible to the book from before you began, in order to get your 3 year certificate. For example, if you start with Genesis, you will complete your 3 year study with Revelation. This study is for beginning and advanced Bible students with additional study notes to help you go even deeper.

This study covers 11 workbooks that cover all 66 books of the Bible. Each week there will be 5 days of study (the big picture, a crucial chapter, a prominent player, a notable feature, and a timeless principle), requiring 3-8 hours of study time each week. You can complete a day at a time like a devotional, or you can complete more days in a sitting depending on the time you have each week.

Through this study you will gain a more thorough understanding of the WHO-WHAT-WHEN-WHERE-WHY of each book of the Bible while enjoying discussion time and fellowship with your group. Precept upon Precept is an Inductive Bible Study that features the Precept Inductive Bible Study Method. Discover the truth for yourself. In this class, we stretch the study and take two weeks for each five days of study.

Acts Part 1 - Precept Workbook (NASB)
Luke’s first account was his Gospel in which he recorded all that Jesus began to do and teach. His second account we call Acts, or the Acts of the Apostles, in which Luke recorded what happened after Jesus’ ascension to the Father. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, empowering the apostles to testify to the power of God in salvation and in living every day for the gospel. Learn how God spread the gospel through witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and from their examples, how you too can witness to others. Stand in awe of the power of God in believers to endure persecution and suffering for the cause of Christ and embrace His power in your life. Be encouraged by the results of faithful servants holding forth truth in a dark world; watch as the church grows numerically, geographically, and culturally.

Acts Part 2

Jesus promised His disciples that they would take the Gospel to the remotest parts of the earth. Observe Paul's transformation from persecutor of the church to preacher. Join him on his journeys across the Roman world to proclaim the saving message of Jesus to Jews and Gentiles. Learn how to witness and how to live an authentic Christian life in all circumstances in the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to be like Paul, to be bold in proclaiming the name of Jesus and to trust our sovereign Lord who enables us to endure persecution and suffering at the hands of those who hate Jesus...and therefore, hate us.

Introduction to the Letters of 1 & 2 Peter

Women of Grace welcomes women of all ages. We love learning more about the Word of God and building friendships. Wherever you are in your walk with God, we invite you to discover how relevant Biblical truths are to life today.

Peter was well-qualified to write a letter to those whose faith was being tried in so many ways.
Peter witnessed the suffering of Christ firsthand - inflicted by those who crucified Him and by Peter's own denial of Him in the face of danger. Perhaps it was these experiences that influenced his first epistle, which focuses on righteous conduct when undergoing persecution.

Both 1 and 2 Peter demonstrate the disciple's remarkable growth. Where turmoil once compelled Peter to cut off a soldier's ear and deny the Savior he loved and followed, we now see him clinging boldly to faith in Jesus - even when knowing that it was going to cost him his life. In his final epistle - 2 Peter - he encourages believers to hold onto the promises of God and live them out, no matter the circumstances.

This warm and supportive relationship with a devoted Christian woman allows you to "do life" with someone who cares for you using Biblical principles. When partnered with Discipleship, you can be equipped with a deeper understanding of a Christ-centered lifestyle and what that means to believers. Our Discipleship Ministry offers a more structured approach. It includes basic elements of our Christian faith presented in a lovely workbook/study format.
